India’s recruitment landscape has seen several significant developments, from the cancellation of government medical college vacancies to new fellowship opportunities and examination results. These announcements have implications for jobseekers, medical professionals, and candidates preparing for competitive examinations.

Major Recruitment and Examination Updates

The latest developments include:

• BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has cancelled recruitment advertisements for 1,711 Assistant Professor posts in state medical colleges and hospitals. Fresh advertisements are expected, offering a revised opportunity for eligible medical professionals
• AIIMS Fellowship January 2027: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has opened registrations for 93 fellowship seats across 34 specialisations. The application deadline is November 11th, 2026, making this an important opportunity for doctors seeking specialised training
• SSC CPO PET/PST Result 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the physical test results for the Sub-Inspector examination. A total of 10,676 candidates have qualified for Paper II
• RSSB Driver Trade Test Result 2026: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has shortlisted 4,508 candidates for document verification following the Driver Trade Test

What These Developments Mean for Candidates

These announcements reflect the continuing demand for qualified professionals across healthcare and government services. The BPSC cancellation highlights the importance of monitoring recruitment notices for revised vacancies, while the AIIMS fellowship provides a time-sensitive opportunity for medical graduates and specialists.

For candidates who have cleared the SSC CPO physical tests or RSSB Driver Trade Test, the next stages are equally important. They should check their results, follow official instructions, and prepare the required documents for subsequent selection procedures.
